Hello City Residents, 

Over the last several months the City of Lancaster Home Rule Study Commission has worked through drafting the Home Rule Charter. We tackled this by discussing one topic (Article) at a time. As the Commission developed each Article, its draft was posted and available for public review.   

On August 1, the Commission made final decisions on the last three charter Articles (Budget and Finance, Ethics Commission, and City Council). A full draft is now available for public review and additional feedback. Please attend the August 8 Public Hearing to provide testimony and feedback, it starts at 7 PM.
